The much-sought after three-storey house is currently owned by five local businessmen who snapped up the property for just under £3 million.
It first came on the open market in 2004 when it fetched around £2 million after undergoing significant redevelopment before being repossessed by the bank.
The original owner of the house, which dates from 1872, purchased it for less than £5,000.
