Hearts winger Billy King has set his sights on Europe after the Jambos roared into second spot in the Premiership.
The capital club are in blistering form, registering four consecutive league wins without conceding a goal in the process – and they will be firm favourites to see off Dundee at a sold-out Tynecastle today.
Head coach Robbie Neilson has remained steadfast in his insistence that a top six place remains Hearts’ target following their promotion from the Championship last term.
But, with the men in maroon flying high, King admits he is dreaming of continental qualification.
King said: “I think top four and European football would be a good aim for us. I think we’re more than capable of getting that.
“We just need to keep going the way we’re going. We just need to keep getting clean sheets and stay defensively solid as a team. If we do that, we’ve got a good chance of winning games because of the quality of strikers we’ve got.
“We had a blip earlier this season and learnt that you can’t make as many mistakes in this league as you can in the Championship because it’s a higher calibre of player and they’re more likely to punish you.
“In that bad spell we made a few mistakes at a time when we were trying to bed in new players work out exactly how we were going to play. It was clear then that we still needed time to gel but it’s starting to click now.”
