An estate described as the most picturesque in Scotland has gone on sale – complete with its own private island.
For anyone with £2.25m to spare, the 748-acre Kilchoan Estate includes a nine acre Hebridean island just 100 metres offshore.
Anyone making the short trip from the private boathouse to the island of Eilean Coltair can also pick a fresh lobster from the waters surrounding the shoreline estate.
Just 20 miles from Oban on the west coast of Scotland, the estate is currently run as a traditional hill sheep farm and is expected to draw interest from around the world.

David Keate, the owner of the estate, said he and his wife are planning to retire so are selling their much loved Highland home.
