A SCOTS mum has become an internet sensation after she was filmed by her son launching a hysterical, foul-mouthed rant over X Factor results.
Lorna Murray-Patel is seen in the YouTube video exploding with rage and frustration as presenter Dermot O’Leary announces that Christopher had edged out Union J.
Lorna screams at the top of her voice: “F***! F***!”
Flinging her hands around and rocking backwards and forwards, she exclaims: “Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh no… un-bloody-believable! Jesus God Almighty!”
And in the funniest moment, the mother-of-two from Buckie, Moray, screams at Christopher: “He’s a t**!”
Yesterday the video, filmed by her son Jordan, clocked up around 34,000 hits in just seven hours.
Jordan revealed on his Facebook page that ITV bosses had been in touch about Lorna appearing on the Extra Factor.
During Lorna’s two-and-a-half minute rant, she also said: “Oh Jesus, Union J – I voted for you’s five times! Pathetic – absolutely bloody pathetic!”
And in another reference to grand finalist Christopher said: “Oh dear God, that karaoke singer is through!”
Jordan can then be heard asking his mum from behind the camera: “I take it you don’t like Christopher?”
Lorna replies: “I’m just in bloody shock again. It’s all they bloody grannies and – oh my God I just cannae believe it!”
The two and half minute clip ends with Lorna leaning back on the sofa and taking a big deep breath.
After posting the video online Lorna took to Facebook to apologise for her foul-mouthed outburst.
She wrote: “Please accept my sincere apologies everyone. I never swear!! Think i’ll have a bleeper at hand next week in case he wins. Didn’t know my son was filming!
“Well what can i say, PMT has alot to answer for! Fair to say i’ll be doing a clean sweep for hidden mobile phones before the final results this weekend.”
She then parodies the lyrics to judge Tulisa’s song Young by writing on her Facebook: “In the words of Tulisa – forgive me for what I’ve done because I’m a mum, I’m a mum.”
Fellow YouTubers who viewed the clip were sympathetic to Lorna’s frustration as they posted comments below the clip.
One wrote: “That is so funny I find it more funny at the fact that [Jordan is] struggling to not laugh.”
Another posted: “Hahahhahahahaha that was hilarious!! I know how she feels!!”
Another fan wrote: “This has to be one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. It’s adorable and totally on-point.
“Tweet this to Simon Cowell and the X Factor – they should show it in Manchester on the big screen before the final begins! That would be epic.”
Jordan posted the video on YouTube with an explanation of how he came to film his mum on his mobile.
“I couldn’t care less about X Factor,” he said. “I was on Twitter and Facebook on it whilst sitting in the living room next to her.”
Jordan informed friends and family that ITV bosses had been in touch looking to get Lorna on the show.
On his Facebook page he wrote: “Been e-mailed asking if my mum wants to appear on the Xtra Factor.”
Where is sister Jay replied: “Actually can not believe this…I better get to meet Union J!”
