Northern Constabulary is currently investigating an assault which occurred at a house on Station Drive, Ardersier during the evening of Wednesday 11th April 2012.
As a result of this assault a 39-year-old male was taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment to injuries to his arm.
A 39-year-old female was later arrested and is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on 13 April 2012.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
