A CITY tea specialist has introduced a range of new teas into its shop.
Pekoe Tea in Edinburgh has created a special Christmas blend, available until 31 December. The Christmas blend is a delicious mix of black tea, apple pieces, almond, cinnamon and bourbon vanilla.
It has also created its own chai mix.
A consignment of teas from India and China has also just arrived at the shop, including a rare white China tea, called ‘Ancient White Buds’, from the Mannong Fair Trade Tea Garden in Yunnan Province, China, where some of the trees are over 1000 years old.
Pekoe Tea is one of a few select stockists in the UK of this tea.
Teas just in from India include a rare Darjeeling and an English breakfast tea, specially created for the company, from a blend of Assams.
The shop also has a tea bar, where coffee, hot chocolate and a selection of macaroons are available, as well a range of teas.
