THE European premiere of Ewan McGregor’s new movie hasbeen forced to move to a larger Edinburgh venue after tickets sold out.
The premiere of
“Perfect Sense’ was due to take place at the The Cameo, which holds around 400 people, during the Edinburgh International Film Festival but has now moved to the Edinburgh Festival Theatre due to a sell out of advanced tickets.
Ewan McGregor will be in attendance at the premiere on June 18 which now will fill the 1500 seater Edinburgh Festival Theatre.
Mr McGregor said:
“I’m delighted to be able to come to Edinburgh to support the film festival and the European premiere of ‘Perfect Sense and look forward to seeing the film in such an amazing venue. “
The Glasgow-set movie is directed by David McKenzie and also stars Eva Green, Ewen Bremner, Denis Lawson, Connie Nielsen and Stephen Dillane.
The drama teams Young Adam director and star, McKenzie and McGregor once again and tells the story of a chef (McGregor) and a scientist (Green) who fall in love just as the world begins to fall apart.
Sigma Films, the team behind Hallan Foe and Young Adam, have produced the film

The 65th Edinburgh International Film Festival will take place at venues across the city from 15th-26th June, offering a
“film for all’ remit and over 100 screenings.
