STRANDED lorry drivers were the saviour to many on Monday night as they dished out crisp supplies to the lines of snow-ridden motorists on the M8.
The M8 came to a complete standstill as weather conditions took a turn for the worst.
Some motorists were stuck in their cars for 12 hours and others had to abandon their cars altogether to set off by foot instead.
