A MOTORCYCLIST died following emergency CPR from ambulance staff after his bike collided with a car in Fife.
The accident happened at around 5.15pm yesterday (Sat) on the B942 Colinsburgh to Pittenweem road.
Two ambulance crews attended, and were supported by a trauma team from Dundeeās Ninewells Hospital.
Paramedics tried desperately to revive the man, but he was declared deceased at the scene.
Two casualties – both of whom were in the car – were taken to Ninewells Hospital but their condition was not yet known.
The driver of the car had to be cut free by firemen before being rushed to hospital.
A Fife Constabulary spokesperson said police enquiries were still at an early stage, and appealed for witnesses to contact them on 0845 600 5702.
An ambulance spokesman said: āTwo ambulance crews were on scene as well as a trauma team from Ninewells.
āCPR was administered to the motorcyclist but he could not be revived.
āTwo other patients were taken to Ninewells Hospital.ā
