A SCOTTISH distillery has earned multiple accolades at the 2024 Scottish Whisky Awards, which celebrates excellence in whisky production.
Isle of Harris Distillery has achieved top positions in multiple categories, including newcomer of the year and product launch of the year for its single malt, The Hearach, alongside Scottish whiskey distillery of the year.
The distillery was commended for its visionary leadership, commitment to community and local partnerships, and people-first culture.

The Hearach’s success at the Scottish Whisky Awards 2024 joins a growing list of recognitions this year, including the International Spirits Challenge 2024, San Francisco Spirits Awards 2024, and a gold medal at the London Spirits Competition 2024.
The distillery has been celebrated for its excellence before. Having previously been awarded Scottish Gin Distillery of the Year at the Scottish Gin Awards in 2018 and 2021.
Isle of Harris Distillery thanked the Scottish Whisky Awards for the recognition and their loyal supporters who have embraced The Hearach. It was also added that this marked “a significant milestone in the distillery’s journey”.
