Scots footy fans left bewildered after hilariously spotting Cristiano Ronaldo on waterslide at plush Loch Lomond hotel

SCOTS football fans couldn’t believe their eyes when they hilariously spotted Cristiano Ronaldo going down a waterslide at a plush Loch Lomond hotel.

Footage shared to social media yesterday sneakily captured the Portugal star enjoying himself at Cameron House ahead of his side’s clash with Scotland at Hampden tomorrow.

The 39-year-old could be seen throwing himself down the flume at the five-star hotel to the sound of chanting from onlookers.

Scots on social media have been left stunned, with some questioning whether it really is Ronaldo in the clip.

Although he has been known to stay at the hotel ahead of games in the past, this will be his first-ever game at Scotland’s national stadium

Ronaldo can be seen in his swimming trunks, stepping up to the waterslide before hurtling down.

While he can’t be seen hitting the water at the bottom, chants and laughter can be heard from those around the pool.

The bloke filming hilariously says: “Ronaldo down the flume, that’s gangster innit.”

The footage appeared to have been filmed on Snapchat but was reposted to social media yesterday with the caption: “Ronny up the Cammy House.”

It has since received over 3,200 likes and a slew of comments from fans tickled by the shock cameo appearance from the football great.

One joked: “Big man loves a flume.”

A second wrote: “Greatest of all time for a reason.”

Another said: “Not even Ronaldo, just a look alike bud.”

Ronaldo and the rest of the Portugal side will face Scotland at Hampden tomorrow evening as part of the UEFA Nations League.

‘Ronny’ and his teammates currently sit top of the group on nine points in three straight wins, whilst fortunes have been drastically different for Steve Clarke’s Scotland who are dead last with three losses.
