Brit slams dog owners for “disrespect” to countryside after spotting SEVEN dog waste bags pinned to tree – right underneath sign about picking up after dogs

A BRIT has slammed dog owners for their “disrespect” to the countryside after spotting seven filled waste bags pinned on a tree – right below a sign about picking up after dogs.

Trevor Lee shared his rant in a post to social media on Wednesday after a walk through a Forestry England site.

There, Trevor spotted a collection of dog poo bags cheekily tacked to the bark of a tree on the path instead of being taken with the dogs’ owners to be disposed of properly.

An image of a tree next to a path through a forest. Seven full dog waste bags are attached to the tree trunk: three black and three green bags in a cluster, and one neon yellow bag below. Above the bags is a black laminated sign reading: "Clean up after your dog. Please help us to keep the area clean and safe for everyone. Take your dog's mess home."
Ironic: Dog poo bags underneath instructions to take them home

Trevor, from Grantham, Lincolnshire, is adamant owners should take responsibility and take bags home with them, and that sites should not be required to provide bins.

An image shows a tree next to a footpath winding through a forest, where seven bulging dog waste bags are attached to the trunk at various points.

Above the bags is a black laminated sign reading: “Clean up after your dog.

“Please help us to keep the area clean and safe for everyone. Take your dog’s mess home.”

It also features a cartoon image of faeces.

Trevor shared the picture to social media on Wednesday with the caption: “Perfect example of the disrespect dog owners have for the countryside…”

It has since received over 1,200 likes and over 230 comments from social media users keen to share their views.

One wrote: “Irresponsible dog owners. Thankfully the minority, but definitely those that shouldn’t be allowed to have a dog.”

Another replied: “Unfortunately the ‘minority’ is getting bigger as dogs become the ultimate lifestyle accessory.”

A second commented: “Deliberately placed next to the sign, that’s plainly malicious.”

Another said: “Bit of a generalisation don’t you think? I’m a dog owner and hate this as much as you. Never seen anything like this though.”

A fourth said: “Love to follow them home and post it through their letterbox, minus the bag of course.”

Another wrote: “I assume there is no bin, so they are making a valid point to be fair.”

Trevor hit back with: “Bins should not be provided, it’s no one’s responsibility to dispose of other people’s dog s**t. Like the sign clearly says, take it home.”
