Ghanaian Celtic superfans receive gifted chicken from anonymous donor, duly name it Haggis

A GROUP of Celtic superfans in Ghana have been gifted a chicken by an anonymous donor – which they have duly named Haggis.

The African supporters are led by a bloke known only as Jungle Albert, who has previously gained attention online for his fanatical following of the Glasgow side.

Now, Albert and a group of the Celtic-daft youngsters have taken their association with Scotland to a new level with a donation from a donor – a chicken named after the country’s national dish.

Video of the team thanking the donor shows Albert, and what appears to be a Ghanaian Celtic youth squad, alongside Haggis the chicken.

The team named their chicken haggis in honor of their donor.

Kitted out in Celtic strips, the youth squad and Albert address the camera to thank their anonymous donor – who also seems to have been called Haggis – for the gift.

The youth squad chorus a “Thank you haggis” to the camera to show their appreciation to the anonymous donor.

Albert then chimes in with: “Haggis, we say thank you for buying us [a] new chicken for the village. We really appreciate [you] for the new chicken.”

He continues: “This chicken [is] called Haggis. Guys this [is] our new chicken called Haggis.”

Albert then exclaims, “Let’s dance for Haggis.” before turning on music and dancing in celebration with the rest of the youngsters.

The group wrap up their bizarre celebratory dance in honour of their new chicken as Albert exclaims: “We love you Haggis.”
