THIS is the hilarious moment a “drunk” cyclist wobbles his way down a busy London road before taking an embarrassing tumble in front of punters.
The accident was caught on the dashcam of an onlooking motorist on King’s Road in West London in the early hours yesterday as the seemingly boozed-up rider dangerously swayed across the lane.
The daft bloke’s joyride came to an abrupt stop however, when he wobbled one too many times and was sent flying over his handlebars in front of a group of lads on a night out.
The video begins with the filming car holding back from the cyclist, seemingly wary of the sobriety of the rider.
Up ahead, the cyclist can be seen gently coasting from side to side before seemingly trying to overtake a fellow rider in front of him.
As he does so however, the cyclist appears to misjudge his turn and instead jerks his handlebars to the right, causing him to turn sharply into the middle of the road.
The bloke seems to hit the brakes, which causes the bike to come to a harsh stop, subsequently sending him tumbling over the handlebars and crashing to the ground.
The man behind the dashcam gasps in shock as a group of men standing by the side of the road also watch on in astonishment.
The rider lies still on the road for a moment, apparently in a bit of a daze after planting onto the tarmac but sits up gradually as the group of pals approach him.
Two of the group help the dopey chap up off the ground and help him stagger to the side of the road as a third member of the party wheels his bike out of the way of the waiting car.
The helpful lads can be seen sticking around momentarily to check the cyclist is alright before the motorist passes on by and carries on his journey.
The video was posted to social media yesterday with the caption: “Drunk dangerous cyclist on London road.”
The clip has since received several comments from users suggesting the bloke may have been a bit too merry to be riding a bike.
One user replied: “I think he’s had a few too many”
Another added: “Drunk cyclist, you should get a bonus for running over it.”
A third wrote: “Wait for Micky blue tick to defend him.”
