A HOUSE-HUNTER was left baffled after spotting an apparent “sex doll” left in an estate agent’s property photos.
Joe Gurski was browsing through Rightmove on Monday, on the hunt for houses in Manchester when he stumbled upon the bizarre home.
The 29-year-old spotted the two bedroom terraced house up for sale for £160,000, and decided to have a closer look at what it offered inside.
Joe could never have expected what he’d find though, as he was greeted by one of the home’s unique residents.
The exterior photos of the property appear normal, with a front door accessed via a porch boasting potted plants, a bench and a table and chairs for enjoying the weather and entertaining guests.
Moving inside, the interior of the property contains a sizeable living room with laminate flooring, and room for several sofas.
A conservatory is also featured, containing more sofas and chairs to wind down in with a view out to the front of the house.
An array of colours adorn the home’s two bedrooms – whilst bright red flooring and cupboards feature throughout one of the home’s two bathrooms.
House-browsers will have to do a double take when they view the hallway though, as beneath the stairs lies a chaise longue, on top of which sits a plastic mannequin of a woman.
The dummy, which appears to be very retro in appearance, sports a sunhat, red dress and black tights as it reclines with its hand positioned by its mouth.
Bizzarely, behind the dummy and its chair lies another bed tucked into the back corner of the space beneath the stairs, providing a third makeshift bedroom – albeit with no privacy and a creepy roommate.
Taken aback by his find, Joe shared the image to social media with the caption: “I check Rightmove across Manchester every couple of days and see so much unhinged shit, but this is a new level.
“The photographer really said ‘the sex doll stays in the estate agent photos.'”
The post has received over 250 likes and dozens of comments from users left scratching their head at the bizarre decor item.
One user joked: “That is Camilla Parker Bowles.”
Another said: “I have many, many questions.”
A third commented: “Omg this is gold.”
Another replied: “Omg I’ve also just noticed the antique telephone. Very brave as a theme.”
Speaking today Joe said: “It freaked me out at first. I thought it was a person who refused to get out of shot and I thought that was a bit cheeky of them.
“But then I looked closer and realised it’s obviously a mannequin or doll of some sort. The house seems to have a lot of quirky features so it’s definitely owned by someone who’s a bit larger than life.
“I probably see a weird interior decoration choice once or twice a week when I’m having a gander on Rightmove, but this one really took the biscuit.”
Properties in Manchester had an overall average price of £302,307 over the last year, according to Rightmove.
