AN EDINBURGH gin company has begun a new partnership that will provide guests with a brand new three-course menu.
Historic Environment Scotland and Edinburgh Gin have partnered up to provide a three-course menu that has been inspired by the new Edinburgh Castle Gin.
The gin heavy menu was inspired by by the blend of botanicals found within Edinburgh Castle Gin and created exclusively for events like wedding receptions and will be available at Edinburgh Castle from 1 September 2021.
Suzanne Davies, Event Sales and Catering Manager, Historic Environment Scotland, said: After the successful launch of the Edinburgh Castle Gin in May, we are now introducing an exclusive Edinburgh Gin Menu for our guests attending wedding receptions and corporate events.”
The menu prepared by Benugo, will feature fancy dishes like a cumin spiced North Sea cod served with an Edinburgh Gin Pomegranate and Rose Liqueur salsa and an Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb panna cotta.
The prices for the food featuring artisan produce from land and sea start from £80 per person and can be booked for events from 1 September onwards and all meals will be served in the castle’s Queen Anne room for evening events.
All events will follow the social distancing rules in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic and numbers will adhere to the limits on events set by the Scottish Government.
Historic Environment Scotland also announced two new cocktails to accompany the menu and follow the evening’s theme, The Crown Jewel and On The Rocks.
