Eden Locke in Edinburgh will play host to to an innovative, cross art-form exhibition this August.
Creative Conversations a portrait exhibition profiling individuals leading the way in the Scottish creative industry will be held at Eden Locke later this summer.
Delivered in partnership with photographer Ellie Morag, the exhibition was born from Ellie’s love of portraiture and Eden Locke’s desire to provide a platform to showcase the knowledge and profiles of creative locals.
Locke aims to bring creative organisations and practitioners, producers and curators into productive conversations, to share their stories and the wide range of experience and expertise.
Featured in the creative conversation exhibition will be portraits of a curated selection of Scotland’s most experienced creative professionals including –
- Lucy Ball, Creative Producer & Owner of Greenroom Films
- Ted Simpson, Filmmaker at Just Trek
- Andreia Afonso, Fashion Stylist & Creative Advisor
- Danny Scrimshaw, Musician
- Fran Mart, Photographer
Ellie Morag is an Edinburgh based photographer who specialises in lifestyle, street style and personal portraits. Inspired by movement, colour and narrative, Ellie’s style falls somewhere between documentary and portrait photography.
The Creative Conversations portrait exhibition will be displayed from Tuesday 30, July at 127, Edinburgh’s new cultural hub and coffee destination situated inside Eden Locke.
