They are also in discussion with Care Inspectorate, SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) and Disclosure Scotland.

Co-Founder and CEO of novacare, Stephen Wilson comments: “We are working to engage all of the relevant industry stakeholders and immerse ourselves in the health and social care market to really understand what our customers wants and needs.

“In doing so, we will be able to deliver a service that is driven by the industry and will make a genuine sea change in the care sector across the UK.”

novacare is working to support local authorities, NHS and service providers to recruit high quality staff more efficiently, reliably and cost effectively.

The software company aims to solve the key problems faced by the industry by putting the user at the heart of its products.

Judith Proctor, Chief Officer of Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership comments, “novacare greatly appealed to us as it is a one-stop shop where potential employees can see all available opportunities and supports our pressing need to recruit care workers in the capital.”

Stephen concludes: “We are working really hard to take a holistic view of the industry and look at the market place as a sphere of influence.

“Products are continually evolving in this space so there is always lots of work that can be done to improve our business which will in turn support the wider issues around the shortage of care in the UK.”
