Cameron House unveils new look of multi-million pound upgrade of clubhouse and spa

A LUXURY Scottish resort has unveiled the first stage of its two million pound transformation of its Carrick Resort.

The refurbishment was carried out by award-winning interior design firm, Greyline Design, over six weeks upgrading its clubhouse and café spa, revamping the interior and food and drink offering.

The restaurant which was previously known as The Claret Jug was renamed to the Clubhouse at Cameron and has been fully renovated.

The renovated clubhouse retains some of the original features such as the flagstone floor and the stone fireplace.

The Café Spa has been relocated to the ground floor, with new windows in place to improve natural light and allow visitor to make the most of the stunning views on offer.

Resort Director Andy Roger said: “This work represents the start of an exciting transformation of what was previously called the Carrick Resort into the Cameron Club and Spa.

“Relocating the Café Spa to the ground floor level has allowed us to increase capacity and transform the Spa arrival experience.

“All of this was completed with the utmost care to ensure any changes make the most of our stunning setting.”

Greyline Design’s Gavin Liddle said:“Our key aim for The Clubhouse at Cameron was to create a welcoming, characterful space with a laid-back feel.

“As well as a full renovation of the interior, the lighting has also been upgraded throughout to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere where guests can take a moment to sit back and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Loch Lomond.”

The Loch Lomond resort has an 18-hole Championship golf course to use and an array of dining options to enjoy.

And it also regularly hosts live music, as well as gin, whisky and wine tasting events.

The next stage of developments will see the treatment room and spa facilities upgraded.
