WITH  additional new choreography from Gary Lloyd (Thriller Live, Heathers), Bill Kenwright’s acclaimed production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sparkling family musical is brought to life in a joyful explosion of colour.

This entertaining and technicolor performance showcases the fantastic vocals of the cast, in particular Trina Hill as the narrator and Jaymi Hensley as Joseph.  In fact the audience reward the cast with a standing ovation for their performance.

Union J’s Jaymi Hensley shines in his first ever major musical role.  Having risen to fame on The X Factor, Union J went on to have both a top ten album and a major UK tour.  Jaymi has recently appeared on hit TV shows including Celebrity Masterchef.

Retelling the Biblical story of the favourite child Joseph, his doting father, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colours, this magical musical is bursting with unforgettable songs including Go, Go, Go Joseph, Any Dream Will Do, Jacob and Sons, Close Every Door To Me and countless more.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was the first of Lloyd Webber and Rice’s musicals to be performed publicly. Seen by an estimated 26 million people, and counting, Joseph continues to entertain audiences around the world.

The original production ran for 40 years and has been revived into a sparkling new production by Gary Lloyd. He brings a fresh pop element to the show, from his work with the likes of Robbie Williams, Kelly Clarkson, John Barrowman, Girls Aloud and Anastasia.  There are also some unusual surprises in this new revitalised version.

Great for a fun family night out particularly when the audience are invited to participate in a singalong.  The amusing and sometimes deflating set animals also inadvertently keep us laughing throughout the show.

Joseph is recommended for the pure entertainment factor but some aspects of the performance are baffling, such as the appearance of cheerleaders, cowboys and an Elvis impersonator….
