SCOTS actress Karen Gillan has shared a bizarre video of herself singing the disco classic YMCA – while dressed as an alien.
The strange clip filmed Gillan while she was still wearing her make-up for her character Nebula from the Marvel blockbuster movie Guardians of the Galaxy.
The Scottish star is seen miming along to the lyrics of the famous tune before bursting into song as two make-up artists are seen taking off the blue and purple mask on her head.
Posting the clip online, the 30-year-old from Inverness wrote: “Another day down, another deranged de-rig. The guys love it. Especially the new song.”
The clip begins with Gillan staring directly at the camera as the inconic Village People song rings out in the background.
Mouthing the lyrics at the beginning of the clip, Gillan eventually belts out the lines as the two make-up artists are seen smiling and laughing.
The former Doctor Who companion even begins to dance whilst sitting in a chair as the two men try to remove the mask using scissors.
The clip, posted onto Gillan’s Instagram account, has gone viral, attracting nearly 180,000 views and over 34,000 likes with hundreds of comments, with some mentioning her singing talents.

Karen famously played baddie Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy but she is currently promoting her latest flick Jumanji, where she stars alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
The Scots actress famously shaved off her well-known ginger mane to play Nebula in the Marvel blockbuster franchise.
