Corrie McKeague’s girlfriend posts adorable new snap of their newborn baby girl

THE GIRLFRIEND of missing RAF airman Corrie McKeague has shared an adorable new photograph of the couples “perfect princess”.

April Oliver posted the gorgeous picture on her Facebook page last night showing the little one, sleeping peacefully while lying on her mother’s stomach.

The eleven-day-old baby-girl is shown wrapped in a white blanket with her right fist clutched while 21-year-old April’s hand can be seen supporting her side.

Proud mum, April captioned the image: “Mummy’s perfect princess.”

The fitness instructor announced the birth of her first child on Father’s Day last Sunday – a week after the little one was born on June 11.

In that previous post, she shared a selfie of herself, cradling the little one while sat in a hospital bed, alongside red love heart emoji icons.

Alongside the image she wrote: “daddy would be so proud” and “would love you as much as I do.”

Corrie’s mother, Nicola Urquhart also shared a touching photograph showing her cradling her granddaughter in hospital.

She wrote: “We finally welcomed this beautiful little lady into the world on the 11th of June.

“She is absolutely perfect. I am so very proud of April for getting her here safely. Both mummy and baby are doing well. Thank you so much for all your love and support.”

April announced her pregnancy back in January – four months after Corrie disappeared following a night out with friends in Bury, St Edmunds.

At the time, she said: “We’d had conversations about children and what we wanted in the past and it was something that I hoped he’d be here to help me make the decision for but unfortunately he isn’t.

“Although it was a horrible time and something I wish I could have experienced with him I was also happy that it had happened and I was excited, but I felt bad for being excited.”

April, from Downham Market, Norfolk, was rushed to hospital earlier this month after fears that the stress of Corrie remaining missing was harming the baby.

She revealed she found our she was expecting Corrie’s child two weeks after his disappearance last September.

But the RAF gunner’s father Martin McKeague claimed last month that Corrie knew she was pregnant days before he went missing.

April, who had been dating Corrie for around five months before he went missing, previously shared a poignant black and white image of her baby bump.

Corrie, originally from Dunfermline, Fife, vanished after a night out with friends in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, on September 24 last year.

A wide-ranging search for the 23-year-old in the surrounding areas has so far produced no results.

Police began digging through a huge landfill site in Cambridgeshire where they believe Corrie’s body may be found earlier this year.

He was last spotted on CCTV walking into an area containing several large bins.

A Biffa bin lorry made a pick up from the area shortly after and phone signals from Corrie’s mobile phone were picked up making the same journey.
