A DOMINO’S delivery driver has gone viral after going above and beyond the call of duty to deliver pizza to a hungover customer – who was still in bed.
Sam Zegrour was hungover in bed last Saturday when he decided to order takeaway pizzas as a remedy.
But as he was still feeling so bad from the night before, Sam couldn’t face getting out of bed to greet the delivery man at the front door.
So sent instructions on how to bring it up to him.
Incredibly, the helpful delivery driver let himself into the house in Bury, Greater Manchester, and took the pizza upstairs to a grateful Sam who didn’t have to leave the comfort of his own room.
Sam shared two photos on Facebook last Saturday of his unique delivery and wrote: “Current situation. Not all heroes wear capes.”
His funny post has already gained 21,000 likes and over 17,000 shares with a further 7,000 comments.
The first picture shows the online Domino’s order form with Sam’s instructions for the delivery driver which read: “Sinister hangover, door open, please bring upstairs.”
After marking the preferred delivery time as “ASAP”, his second snap shows the Domino’s delivery driver standing in Sam’s bedroom, holding his order in one hand and giving a thumbs up to the camera with the other.
Facebook users have been quick to react to the hilarious delivery.
Nathan Altshuler wrote: “I need this delivery guy in my life.”
Nickie Taylor commented: “This would be the dream.”
Anna-Louise Fackey added: “They really do go out of their way to deliver food! We broke down once and they delivered to the car.”
Whilst Kay Frodsham wrote: “Now I want a Domino’s.”
