STUNT bike king Danny MacAskill “blew away the Christmas cobwebs” by battling 100mph winds and snow to cycle up the Old Man of Storr – in a pair of shorts.
The world renowned pro-rider opted against sitting at home on Boxing Day and munching on leftover turkey to brave the treacherous conditions on Monday.
The famous landmark is situated in the Trotternish peninsula of the Isle of Skye in the Scottish Highlands and has in the past seen walkers plummet 600ft to their death.
Amazingly the Scottish daredevil achieved the climb while battling Storm Connor which caused havoc across the north of Scotland yesterday bringing heavy snow and high winds.
It is thought MacAskill was taking a break from festivities while being in his hometown of Dunvegan – situated just 45 minutes away.
The 31-year-old shared an “epic” photograph, holding one of his bikes above his head while the hills famous, sharp, pointed rocks can be seen towering behind him.
He wrote: “Wild ride up the Old Man Of Storr today with Nash Masson. Nothing like 100mph winds to blow away the Christmas cobwebs!”
The post was immediately liked more than 8,000 times by shocked adrenaline junkie fans and received hundreds of comments including one branding him a “nutter”.

In October 2014, MacAskill released a film titled The Ridge which was also filmed on his home island and shows the superstar cycling along the steep and rocky Cuillin Ridge.
In it’s first five days, the video was viewed a staggering 10 million times on YouTube.
He has earned himself a host of fans in 2009 after releasing a Youtube video of him completing street tricks on his bike.
He gave up his job as a mechanic, and began riding and filming full-time.
In his other videos, he showcases a variety of Scottish landmarks, including Edinburgh Castle, the Forth Road Bridge and the Cruachan Dam.
Street trial riding, which has been described as ‘parkour on a bike’, involves navigating a series of obstacles by performing stunts.
