STILL GAME star Ford Kiernan pranked one of his fellow cast members by defacing a piece of artwork dedicated them in a Scottish pub.
Coopers, a pub in West End of Glasgow, have a presidential-style portrait of Craiglang shopkeeper, Navid, hanging on one of their walls with the caption: “Navid for president”.
Sanjeev Kohli, 44, who plays the no-nonsense greengrocer, recently stopped by to sign the portrait and wrote: “Get it up ye Trump, ya bastard. Navid”.
Now, Kiernan, 54 who writes and stars as Jack Jarvis in the sitcom, has made a visit to the popular pub to leave his own mark on the artwork.
Donna Downey tweeted a picture this morning (Tues) of the Scottish actor writing his own comment on the picture, which read: “Who’s Navid? Jack.”
Ms Downey posted her tweet at Kohli with the caption: “Jack is not impressed!”
Still Game fans have been quick to share their thoughts on the ‘banter’ between the two Scottish stars.
@willyb1912 referenced one of Navid’s famous sayings by writing: “Get oot ma shop!”
@RDWimp commented: “Navid gets my vote any day!”
@Pernbury56 played on Donald Trump’s campaign slogan by saying: “Let’s Make Lenzie Great Again.”
Whilst @Neil_Crowther noticed a familiar sight to fans of the show and wrote: “someone playing the puggy machine in the background.”
Cast members have been spotted across Glasgow filming scenes for the highly anticipated seventh series – the first in nine years.
The new series comes off the back of the smash-hit live show which played to sell-out crowds at the SSE Hydro 18 months ago.
