Raith Rovers have been boosted after goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert penned a new two-year deal with the Kirkcaldy club.
The former Hamilton and St Johnstone star joined Rovers in the summer of 2014 and, following a battle for the gloves with David McGurn, ultimately made the number one spot his own.
Cuthbert, 33, has made 39 appearances this term, keeping 12 clean sheets and emerging as a one of Ray McKinnon’s leaders in the Stark’s Park dressing room.
The experienced stopper, who has also turned out for Morton and Ayr, would have been a free agent in the summer, however Raith have moved swiftly to tie him to the club until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.
Cuthbert becomes the third first-team star to commit his future to the playoff hopefuls this week, following hot on the heels of Iain Davidson, who also agreed a two-year contract, and Scott Robertson, who penned a one-year extension.
