SCOTS influencer Craig Ferguson has revealed the only place in London where a Scot can grab a pint of Tennents and a square sausage roll.
The wee Scots cafe, Auld Hag, on St John Street in central London, is a purveyor of Scottish scran and according to Craig, the only place you can get a pint of Tennents in the capital.
Despite only being 300 miles away from Scotland, some of the food and drink in the British capital is drastically different to that found in Scotland.
It’s tricky to find culturally classic Scottish snacks in England with favourites like Tennents, Buckfast, lorne sausage and potato scones scarce.

Craig took his followers on a trip to the Auld Hag to see what the purveyor of Scottish scran had in stock and they did not disappoint.
Boasting a menu of Scottish foods prepared in-house and snacks, drinks and produce to be bought and taken home the Auld Hag provided Craig with everything he needed on his London trip.
Ordering a square sausage roll and a pint of Tennents at 8am, Craig jokes that it was probably the earliest the cafe had ever served a pint.
He also showed viewers the stocked shelves in the cafe with tablet, cakes, empire biscuits and more available for purchase.
Craig’s video received over 8,000 likes and more than 85 comments from Scots marveling at the Auld Hag’s selection.
One user wrote: “Ah man. Proper burnt roll. As long as it’s proper slice and not lorne sausage.”
Another replied: “Defo (sic) going here on my next site visit at work.”
A third said: “Looks amazing. I saw empire biscuits too. I’m definitely visiting there.”
Another commented: “The Scotch pies are amazing. I think they make them themselves. It is expensive but the food is top quality.”
A fifth added: “I was there a week ago, square sausage on a Glasgow roll was a taste of heaven. I’ve lived in London for 34 years. One bite sent my memories wild.”
