A BODY has been found in a search for a 33-year-old woman who went missing from Edinburgh.
Jordan Allan was last seen on Relugas Road in the Blackford area of the Scottish capital at around 8:30am on Monday, 17 March.
Concerns were growing for Jordan, with officers in Fife and West Lothian also alerted as she had links to those areas.
Police Scotland had said that Jordan may have gotten a train to Kirkcaldy, Fife with inspector Kenny Robertson previously saying it was unusual for Jordan’s family not to hear from her.
However, in a heartbreaking update to the search, police were made aware of a body on Longniddry Beach, East Lothian at around 8am on Tuesday, 18 March.
Formal identification has still to take place however Jordan’s family has been informed.
Police probing the death have confirmed that there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
