AN Edinburgh pizza restaurant has been named by Time Out Magazine as one of the best in the world.
Civerinos, a well-known Edinburgh pizza restaurant with locations in Portobello and Hunters Square was named as one of the best in the world.
It stands alongside Pizzeria da Attilio in Naples, Scarr’s Pizza in New York City and 180g Pizzeria Romana in Rome.
Civerinos took the number 13 spot on a list of 19 pizzerias globally, with Time Out propelling the Auld Reekie pizzeria to worldwide fame.

Civerinos boasts four spots across Scotland now with a restaurant opening in Glasgow in 2023.
Despite Scotland not being the first place to come to mind when you think of pizza, Time Out called Civerinos “lush”.
Civerinos was complimented on its “chewy crusts, coal-fired bases, sweet-but-tangy marinara sauce and carefully curated toppings”.
The restaurant has seen widespread success since opening in 2014 and has become a staple in Edinburgh.
Aside from pizza the restaurant and its owners work within local communities on a number of projects.
A beach litter pick is rewarded by the Portobello location with a free slice during school holidays to encourage kids to look after the environment.
Civerinos has received dozens of five-star reviews from locals and tourists alike across several platforms.
Commonly noted is the quality of the restaurant’s sauces and bases helping to put Civerinos among countless residents’ favourite pizza joints.
