FORMER Prime Minister Boris Johnson is set to charge Scots £121 for a meet and greet at an Edinburgh event later this year.
Johnson will host An Evening with Boris Johnson at the Usher Hall on 2 September, where ticket prices vary from £49 to more than £145.
However, for any attendees who wish to meet the 60-year-old prior to his show, they’ll have to stump up an additional £121.25.
For the eye-watering sum, participating Scots will be allowed to briefly meet the former Tory party leader, and take a photograph with him.

Tickets to hear Johnson speak will be £74, £55 and £49 – not including booking fees – depending on which option punters choose.
There are also two VIP tiers, offering seats for £125 or £145 – also not including booking fees.
Serving as Prime Minister and Leader of the Conservatives from 2019 to 2022, Johnson’s tumultuous time in office was especially tarnished following the Partygate scandal during the Covid-19 pandemic.
An investigation into the scandal found that numerous parties had been held at 10 Downing Street during national lockdowns, and Covid-19 social distancing laws were breached by 83 individuals, including Johnson.
He resigned following the investigation, later found to be true, which concluded that he deliberately and repeatedly misled the house over the Partygate scandal.
A poll has been started in local publication The Edinburgh Minute asking residents of Auld Reekie if they would pay £121 to meet the former PM.
One of the poll’s response options reads “You couldn’t pay me £121 to do that”, which was the preferred choice for the majority of respondents, with only 1% responding to say they would.
SNP MP Kirsty Blackman joked: “For most Scots the important point here is it’s free not to meet him.”
