SCOTS locals have gotten a disgusting surprise when visiting a graveyard on a particularly rowdy Valentine’s Day.
One individual discovered a pair of underwear left discarded in a graveyard in Edinburgh city centre on Friday.
Left discarded on top of a grave the black, skimpy underwear disgusted the passerby when they spotted that they were left on a person’s final resting place.
The disgusting discovery left the local shocked and they encouraged Edinburgh residents to have some shame.
Many others were likewise disgusted by the desecration of the graveyard with a number cracking jokes and others expressing outrage.
An image captured of the discarded underwear was shared to social media the same day they were presumably ditched there.
Sharing the picture to social media on Valentine’s Day the local said: “You stay classy this Valentines Day, Edinburgh.”
The post received over 310 likes and more than 20 comments from locals in Edinburgh who were left cracking jokes at the bizarre discovery.
One user wrote: “I’m guessing you’re in the Heroin and Hookers graveyard on the corner of Lothian Road, Princes Street and Shandwick Place?”
Another joked: “I imagine the vicar will want them back.”
A third said: “I’ll never understand why people don’t respect the dead. There are countless other places to do it.”
