AN EAST Lothian man is travelling around the community cleaning road signs for free as a gesture of goodwill.
Steven Girdwood, from Dunbar, is a professional exterior cleaner who works on gutters, solar panels and UPVC.
Yesterday he filmed himself travelling around East Lothian cleaning the various road signs he came across.
Steven used his specialist tools to clean dozens of road signs across the county, making them more visible to drivers.
His work subsequently made the roads safer with drivers better able to make out the signs and keep to the rules of the road.
Steven cleaned the signs with his own equipment, travelling around the region in his van and tools to do for the community.
Steven uploaded a video of his work to social media yesterday, using it as an advert for his work.
Steven captioned the video simply, “Cleaning signs in East Lothian” and received a slew of likes from social media users, delighted to see community spirit in action.
Steven is the director of his own exterior company, Girdwood Exterior Cleaning Ltd, which he operates out of his van.
He shares footage of his impressive work to social media channels offering impressive before and after photos of his cleaning.
