Edinburgh University medicine students bare all in annual dance and strip show

EDINBURGH University students will put on their annual charity dance and strip show in March this year to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.

The 11th Edinburgh Medics’ Reveal will see 250 nursing and medical students at the University of Edinburgh bare all on stage.

The event, held on 1 March was established in 2014 by a medical student to honour her sister who was diagnosed with cancer.

Held annually since then, the Edinburgh Medics’ Reveal has become a bona fide incorporated charity and raised nearly £200,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Reveal is one of Teenage Cancer Trust’s top five annual donors with significant amounts of money being raised for the charity yearly.

Tickets for the event will go on sale to students today and are expected sell out in mere minutes with the event attracting thousands of punters.

The show’s performances vary with some being non strip dances allowing students to feel comfortable on stage.

Last year’s event raised a whopping £38,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust, selling 1,200 tickets and packing the ICC.

Each year after the event, Edinburgh Medics’ Reveal host an afterparty for attendees and performers alike.

Students from all years perform in Reveal with the event creating year-round community amongst medics at the university.
