SCOTLAND is set for more electric vehicle (EV) chargers as operator Believ is opening a new office in Edinburgh.
The opening is part of Believ’s aim to provide tailored and fully funded EV charge point solutions to local authorities, businesses and landowners across the UK.
The new office will strengthen Believ’s regional presence, joining its already-established offices in London and Cardiff, and comes after it’s recent acquisition of SMS’ public EV charging business.
Believ has stated that the move is part of its dedication to addressing Scotland’s growing demand for sustainable and accessible EV infrastructure.
Believ CEO, Guy Bartlett, expressed his enthusiasm for the company’s continued growth: “We are delighted to open our Edinburgh office, marking an important milestone in our mission to deliver cleaner air for all.
“This new location allows us to better serve Scotland’s local authorities and businesses while providing convenient facilities for our staff and partners.
“Whether grant-funded or not, our fully funded model ensures that infrastructure can be deployed near and beyond where our offices are located, and we are well-equipped to install all charging speeds depending on the location’s needs.
“As Scotland continues to lead the way in sustainability initiatives, our Edinburgh office highlights Believ’s commitment to working hand-in-hand with regional partners to build a robust, accessible EV network across the UK.”
