SCOTS golf tech firm Shot Scope have today announced Lord Mervyn Davies CBE as chairman of the board.
Shot Scope was founded in 2014 and has ambitious plans for 2025, looking to expand outwith the home of golf in Scotland and establish the company as a global brand, particularly in North America.
Lord Davies is set for success as he formerly undertook the roles of chief executive and chairman of standard chartered and was awarded a CBE in 2002 for his services to the financial sector.
He is also currently chairman of the Lawn Tennis Association, LetterOne and sits on the World Rugby Executive Committee.
Lord Davies said: “I am excited to join Shot Scope as Chairman of the Board, our innovative products are sold in over 160 countries and stocked by leading golf and sport retailers worldwide.
“I look forward to working with the team and shareholders to deliver our ambitious international growth plans and establish Shot Scope as a global brand within golf.”

Global expansion is the brand’s primary goal for the upcoming 2025 season, with Lord Davies playing a key part.
