SCOTTISH law firm Gilson Gray has confirmed that it has appointed Stephen Forsyth to its litigation team.
The firm expects that Stephens’s varied experience will allow it to expand its personal injury offering across Scotland.
Stephen has specialised in commercial disputes for more than 13 years in a previous role at MML law where he was also a partner. Before that, he worked in conveyancing and private client services for three years at Wilkie & Dundas.
His addition comes with various backgrounds, including contractual disputes, damages claims, land-based servitudes, debt recovery, and insolvency.
Rosie Walker, Head of Litigation & Dispute Resolution at Gilson Gray, said: “Stephen is well-known in Dundee and Angus and not only strengthens the existing skills we have within the team but adds some new areas of expertise too.
“He also provides us with greater geographical reach at a time when our division within Gilson Gray is growing at a rapid rate.
“We are thrilled to have him as part of the firm and look forward to the impact he will make in the city and beyond.”
When discussing his appointment, Stephen Forsyth said: “It’s difficult not to notice Gilson Gray – the firm’s growth has been remarkable over the past 10 years and shows no signs of letting up.
“In doing my research, I could tell our values were similar, and I bought into Glen and the board’s vision.
“It is a great opportunity to join the firm at an exciting time, with a clear plan for delivery and a highly respected existing team in Dundee and across the country.”
