A YOUNG fox hunter has been filmed shockingly whipping a hunt saboteur from horseback after a group of protestors attempted to stop the hunt he was on.

The North London Hunt Saboteurs are an organisation who aim to prevent and interrupt fox hunting activity, and their latest efforts saw them interfere with a hunt in Essex last Saturday.

It was there that the youth – who appears to be in his teens – was seen trotting towards his victim and using his riding crop to assault the ‘sab’.

Video shows the youth urging his horse forwards towards the saboteur who isn’t fast enough to move out of the way.

Realising the potential danger he is in, the hunt sab films the youngster whilst saying: “Easy, easy.”

The youngster continues his beeline for the protestor though, and as he passes, he leans down from his saddle, riding crop in hand, and viciously whips the saboteur.

A woman can be heard apparently trying to convince the youth otherwise, repeatedly shouting, “Leave it” as one of the saboteur’s colleagues exclaims: “A sab’s been whipped.”

After assaulting the saboteur, the hunter gallops off on his horse, escaping the scene of the crime as his victim is left to laugh to himself.

The shocking footage was reportedly then given to the police who are looking into the incident.

It was also shared to social media yesterday with the caption: “Something to hide?

“Last Saturday, a junior member of the Puckeridge with Essex Union hunt assaulted a member of our group with a riding crop.

“This video, which is now with the police, demonstrates how organised wildlife crime gangs indoctrinate young people.”

It has since received over 960 likes and more than 75 comments from social media users who were shocked at the youth’s callous assault.

One user wrote: “Hope the thug is arrested and charged – and it stays on their permanent record.”

Another replied: “That was calculated and deliberate – hope he’s prosecuted, and his horse taken away as he’s using the animal as a weapon.”

A third said: “Never been told no in their life, this is what you get with entitlement.”

Another commented: “That is proper pony club riding. What happened to ‘squeeze don’t kick’ when asking a horse to go forward?

“I hope the crop is put where the sun doesn’t shine and the police do something about this assault.”
