Showhomes open as Craigiehall renovation marches on

Bookings available for look inside revitalised homes at landmark site

HOUSE hunters are being urged to book in to see two highly anticipated show homes that showcase the creation of a new neighbourhood at the former Scottish headquarters of the UK army.

Located in the northwest fringes of Edinburgh, Craigiehall Meadows is the revival of 78 homes that formed a thriving community, surrounded by mature woodland, farmland and nature trails.

After considerable progress on site, from Sunday (17 November) the public will be able to book a tour of two new show homes which feature beautifully refurbished interiors, with modern designs and layouts perfect for family living.

Tzana Webster, Head of Estate Agency with Ralph Sayer, said: “We’ve had a lot of people eager to see inside these homes – as it’s rare to find such a combination of space and modern amenities in Edinburgh.

“We’ve ensured that every home has been carefully updated to exacting standards, combining modern living with the charm of an established neighbourhood and we’re sure that this will make an attractive proposition to buyers.

“It’s fantastic that we can now invite people to our show homes and showcase the exceptional quality we have to offer.

“This is a great opportunity for first-time buyers and those with families to be able to live in an ideal area surrounded by nature with excellent connections to the city.

“I’d urge people to book in a viewing as soon as they can, as we are expecting high interest in these properties.”

At Craigiehall Meadows, the house styles pay homage to the area’s natural heritage, with each house type named after the indigenous trees that flourish on the site. The “Juniper” is a two-bedroom semi-detached and the “Poplar” is a three-bedroom semi-detached. These homes showcase thoughtful designs across two levels, featuring spacious open-plan lounge/ dining areas, separate fitted kitchens, ample built-in storage, and generous front and back gardens.

These two show homes for the Juniper and the Poplar are now open for viewing on the northern edge of the development at Hillside Road.

The first homes are due to launch to market in the coming week, priced at Fixed Price £255,000 for the Juniper, 2 Bedroom Sem-Detached House and Fixed Price £320,000 for the Poplar, 3 Bedroom Semi-Detached House.

Craigiehall Meadows offers a distinctive opportunity for buyers, with each home boasting spacious room sizes, while retaining the generous garden plots of the former army properties. Many of the homes feature large front and back gardens, providing an ideal setting for family life.

Located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Craigiehall Meadows offers a rural feel while being just a short distance from prime neighbourhoods such as Barnton, Cramond and Cammo.

The development’s mature trees and proximity to farmland provide a serene setting for its residents, with outstanding connectivity to the city centre, motorway network, and Edinburgh Airport.

Ralph Sayer has already seen significant interest in the project, with inquiries coming from both new buyers and those with a personal connection to the former army base.

Viewings starting this Sunday, 17th November – interested parties can contact Ralph Sayer on 0131 225 5567 | property@ralphsayer.com to book in a viewing appointment for the 2 Bedroom Juniper or the 3 Bedroom Poplar for Sunday 17th November. Bookings are strictly by appointment only.
