Chelsea-supporting OnlyFans influencer Astrid Wett claims to have had phone nicked in London – but Brits online aren’t convinced

CHELSEA fan and influencer Astrid Wett claims to have had her phone nicked whilst filming a video in London – but Brits online aren’t convinced.

The OnlyFans model says that her mobile was plucked from in front of her by a passerby on  a bike whilst she and a pal were filming on the banks of the River Thames on Monday.

Wett, 24, shared supposed CCTV footage which is alleged to capture the crime in its entirety – but social media users have cast doubt over its legitimacy.

The video footage allegedly from a CCTV camera in the area show Wett and her companion filming a video with her phone balanced on a wall as they dance in front of it.

Right as the pair turn round for a moment during a spin, a man dressed in all-black riding what appears to be a Lime bike – popular e-bikes for rent on the streets of London – comes flying into frame.

Speeding past the distracted influencer and her pal as their backs are literally turned, the man grabs Wett’s phone from where it sits and races off.

Turning back around to see her phone gone and the man rapidly disappearing into the distance, Wett and her friend stand for a moment in shock before turning and sprinting after the phone thief in a desperate attempt to recover her mobile.

Whilst the other girl continues chasing the rider out of sight, Wett quickly gives up and returns to her belongings, seemingly in visible distress.

Despite this, social media users were left unconvinced by the CCTV footage of the incident with many claiming that the video was staged.

Some suggested that there is no way she would have CCTV of the incident so soon after it happened, with her sharing the video the day after the incident allegedly occurred.

Sharing the clip to social media yesterday, Wett wrote: “London is genuinely a crime-ridden hell hole at the moment.

“Yesterday I had my phone stolen from right in front of me. How do we even fix this?”

The post has since received over 7,000 likes and more than 800 comments from quizzical users questioning the influencers claim.

One user wrote: “Still believed it was staged.”

Another added: “You had your phone stolen but didn’t have it locked with a passcode nor bothered to go to your local phone carrier to get it locked remotely?

“Stop lying, you clout demon.”

A third replied: “This is 100000000% fake.”

Another commented: “Imagine faking getting your phone stolen.”

A fifth said: “Why does the ‘CCTV camera’ wobble? A CCTV camera mounted to a building doesn’t move like that, even in intense wind.”
