UK-BASED workplace health risk prevention expert Reactec has welcomed two new executive directors to its board.
Both new members have been with the company for a number of years and take up their new roles this month, helping to strengthen the company’s board.
Sam Thomas is sales director and has been with the company since 2021. He leads the UK based sales team and is currently building a channel network to take Reactec’s groundbreaking technology R-Link international.
The R-Link is a smart watch that is designed to be used in dangerous work environments, helping to keep workers in these environments safe by monitoring hand arm vibration and alerting users when exposure is dangerous.
Leif Anderson also had a key role in the business evolution, joining the Reactec team in 2016 and moving to chief technology officer in 2018.
He leads a team of experts in the technology suite of workplace wearables and cloud-based data analytics.
The team work on many of the exposure to vibration technology as well as the prevention of harm to a worker’s health via noise, dust and proximity to hazards.
Jacqui McLaughin, chief executive of Reactec praises both new board members: “Sam and Leif have both proven their abilities as business leaders within Reactec and have been key contributors to our success to date.
“As executive directors in the boardroom, they will be able to contribute more directly on the strategies to deliver our goal to further expand our connected wearable technology and data analytics on a global scale.”
