HORROR footage shows a mass brawl breaking out in the middle of a street as a group of blokes – armed and otherwise – beat each other savagely.
The scene was filmed by a passing motorist in Anfield, Liverpool as a group of men – some seemingly workmen – grappled with one another.
The scrap included individuals battered with poles and sticks and even saw one beating deemed a “casual murder” as an assailant ruthlessly smashed another man’s head off the ground.
In the video, one man appears to be getting beaten by the other two as he is held in a headlock by a junction on the road and hit repeatedly with blunt weapons.
The car is forced to stop as the brawl spills out onto the main road, with two men grappling with one another as weapons are swung wildly.
One of them gets the better of the situation and stands, leaving his opponent on the floor defenceless, before beginning to beat the downed man with a metal pole.
The beaten man struggles to his feet just as a group of other men show up to back him up and begin assaulting his attacker.
His assailant is set upon by the large group of men and is chased out of view of the camera before shouting can be heard as the assault presumably continues off screen.
The car continues to drive along the street, the road now clear, and comes across another two men fighting just metres away.
Harrowing scenes show one of them, dressed in grey, on top of the other, slamming his head into the concrete over and over.
The men in the car decide to intervene and shout the grey clad man down, saying: “Lad, lad, don’t kill him here, don’t smash his head like that.”
The grey clad thug agrees to stop his brutal assault, climbing off his now unconscious victim and walking away.
The man driving the car exclaims “wow” as he drives off, shocked by the vicious scenes he’s just witnessed.
The footage of the horrific fight was shared to social media today with the caption: “Street brawl in Anfield, Liverpool.”

One user said: “Just a casual murder at the end there.”
