Janey Godley recreates now infamous protest against Donald Trump as she shows off “Trump is still a c**t” t-shirt

SCOTS comedian Janey Godley has recreated her now infamous protest against Donald Trump as she proudly showed off a t-shirt with the slogan “Trump is still a c**t”.

The 63-year-old, who is currently receiving end of life care for cancer, shared a snap of herself posing with the t-shirt yesterday from her bed in a hospice.

Godley hit the headlines in 2016 when she was spotted holding a sign slamming Trump as a “c**t” at his Turnberry golf course during the former president’s official visit to Scotland.

Her social media has since been flooded with messages of support from fans for keeping up the stunt

Godley can be seen lying in bed laughing as she holds up the black t-shirt to the camera.

In large white letters, it reads: “Trump is still a c**t.”

The comedian claimed she had been barred from the US following her controversial stunt but has continued to be vocal in her criticism of Trump

However, this isn’t the first time she has repeated the performance, as she was previously snapped with a homemade placard with the flowery slogan given to her by fans in Belfast in 2023.

Following the Trump protest, she gained a slew of fans for her hilarious voice-overs of former first minister Nicola Sturgeon’s Covid briefings

Godley sadly announced on social media last month that she would be going into a hospice following the spread of her cancer, despite receiving the all-clear in 2022.

Her post to social media yesterday has since received over 87,000 likes and more than 2,000 comments from tickled Scots sharing their reactions.

One wrote: “She was right back then and she’s right this time, excellent stuff.”

A second commented: “You’re a national treasure for that Janey.”

Another said: “Thanks for that. Made me laugh out loud and frightened the dog.”

A fourth quipped: “Can we order these?”

Another added: “That is the best. You were a light during some pretty dark days in the US.”
