THIS is the horrifying moment a man’s legs are left crushed after a motorist allegedly reversed into his car door.
Footage from a petrol station in Fishponds, Bristol, shows the man stuck in his car door, with his legs crushed by the crumpled metal.
Filmed by an onlooker who was simultaneously on the phone to emergency services, bystanders attempted to wrench the car’s door open to no avail, with the man hauntingly screaming in agony throughout.
Video shows the man begging bystanders to pull his legs out of the crushed door with several people trying to pull it open as a woman phones emergency services.
The man can be heard shouting from his car door, clearly in distress, he says: “Pull it out, yank it out, from the bottom man what’s wrong with you lot?”
The woman on the phone to emergency services relays a question from the call operator, saying: “How old are you?”
Frustrated and in pain the man stuck in the car door shouts back: “Aw f**k, why does that matter?”
The panicking woman continues speaking to the call operator saying: “He’s young, he’s like in his early 20s.”
The man continues to scream in pain and panic shouting at pedestrians to help get his legs out of the crushed car door.
With blood dripping from his face, the man begs: “Come on, come on man get my legs out please.”
The woman filming can be heard panicking and shouting: “Please just get his legs out.”
Three men come to the car door to work together as the woman shouts down the phone at the 999 operator: “His f***ing legs are stuck in the door.”
The woman on the other end of the line can faintly be heard instructing the caller to leave the man where he is, btu more men show up and continue to try pulling the car door open.
The woman can be heard becoming increasingly angry with the operator as she shouts at her to “f***ing get the ambulance here now” before shockingly telling her to “f**k off”.
Video footage of the trapped man was shared to social media on Thursday with the caption: “Morrisons in Fishponds, Bristol. Anyone got an update on how the guy is?”
The footage received a slew of likes and comments from social media users concerned for the man’s wellbeing.
One user commented: “Looks nasty, was that today?”
Another wrote: “Any news on this?”
