Scot reveals tip to bag free cans of Red Bull – thanks to secret compartment on company’s marketing car

A SCOT has revealed a tip to bag free cans of Red Bull – thanks to a secret compartment on the company’s marketing car.

Red Bull’s customised Mini Cooper can be seen in cities across the globe, sporting a giant model of one of the cans on its rear, with room for the driver and a passenger up front.

The rolling advertisement – one of only 500 globally – had its secrets laid bare by Scots musician Josh Moncrieff however, after being spotted in Dundee on Sunday.

Going by Josh’s claims, it seems the car isn’t just a giant ad for the company but also serves as a mobile drink dispensing unit – with heaps of cans up for grabs inside.

Video filmed by Josh shows him spotting the car parked on the roadside in the City of Discovery and approaching it.

He calmly walks up to the car, commenting: “So, you see this bad boy parked right here, right?”

He approaches the rear of the vehicle, with an accomplice audibly reacting in the background as he films a hatch on the rear of the converted Mini.

Josh claims: “Just walk right up to it, simple as that, lift that open, take yourself a wee couple of cans of brew and you’re away.”

As he says this, he opens the hatch on the back of the rolling Red Bull ad, revealing packs of the energy drink lying inside in a built-in fridge.

He then plucks two cans form the secret compartment and walks off nonchalantly, with his free drinks in hand.

Josh shared the video to social media on Sunday with the caption: “Red Bull car, don’t mind if I do.”

His video has since received over 20,000 likes from amazed Scots who are now let in on the car’s supposed secret.

Red Bull has been contacted for comment.
