Edinburgh solicitors Ralph Sayer marks record £230,000 monthly turnover

EDINBURGH-BASED solicitors and estate agents Ralph Sayer has celebrated its second anniversary with a record monthly turnover of £230,000.

The firm saw September as its busiest month yet, thanks in part to a top 10 ranking for insertions and sales on ESPC, the city’s leading property website.

With numerous deals in progress, the family-run company anticipates surpassing this milestone in October.

To meet growing demand, Ralph Sayer has launched another recruitment drive just three months after hiring new staff in July.

Ivan Ralph founded the firm in 2022.

The firm is seeking residential conveyancing solicitors and experienced paralegals.

Ivan Ralph, chief executive, said: “Business has continued unabated and we have just completed £230,000 for the month of September, which is a record for us, and we’re looking at even more than that for October.

“We were also in the top 10 for insertion and sales in the ESPC in September, which is great for the size of business we are.”

The firm is currently managing around 250 transactions for October, with Ralph emphasising the need to expand the team to ensure the workload remains manageable.

He said: “I’m very conscious of the fact I don’t want to burn out the people who are here and doing such a great job.

“We need to bring in experienced pairs of hands to help ensure the load is shared more evenly.

“I was always optimistic we would grow well, but things have surpassed my expectations and that’s testimony to the job our team has been doing.”

The firm continues to recruit specialists who can manage cases from start to finish, ensuring clients receive top-tier service despite the highly competitive residential property market.
