J.K. Rowling hits back at message criticising her of simply despising men

J.K. ROWLING has hit back at yet another message criticising her views, this time accusing her of simply despising men.

The Harry Potter author posted a screenshot of the reply she received on social media today, which ordered her to “stop lying”.

The 59-year-old, who is consistently vocal in defending women’s rights in the trans debate, shared her response, in which she shut down the unnamed user.

The person appeared to slam Rowling and other women who share her views as “misandrists” – people who are strongly prejudiced against men.

It reads: “To gender ideologues, non-compliant women are simultaneously a tiny, insignificant, powerless group that will die out very soon, and a monstrous malign force that causes death to trans people simply by speaking. But to call us misandrists is one hell of a tell.”

She suggested to her followers that they had seemingly tripped themselves up and acknowledged trans women as men, as she repeatedly protests against.

The post, the origin of which Rowling has removed, reads: “Just admit your hate. Stop lying.

“Like I said, TERFs (trans exclusionary radical feminists) are just a small group of women on par with a kill all men movement.

“Just a bunch of bitter old… misandrists vomiting your hate everywhere.”

Rowling’s response came less than 20 minutes later.

She posted: “To gender ideologues, non-compliant women are simultaneously a tiny, insignificant, powerless group that will die out very soon, and a monstrous malign force that causes death to trans people simply by speaking.

“But to call us misandrists is one hell of a tell.”

It has since received over 2,000 likes and more than 120 comments from social media users keen to share their own opinions.

One said: “Though ‘misandrists’ does rather give the game away: it turns out that we’re talking about men after all.”

Another wrote: “Just keep standing J.K. it seems you were given your voice for this most important fight of all; the fight for women and children.”

A third commented: “Wow. We’re very powerful for there only being a dozen of us. They’d best hope we don’t decide we fancy some world domination next week.”

Another quipped: “Your anti-fan club is struggling for a position, social contortionists they are.”

A fifth added: “When crazy becomes the norm.”
