Road rage incident ends with air ambulance being called after man is run over by furious motorist 

A SHOCKING road rage incident has ended in an air ambulance being called after a man was run over by an enraged motorist.  

The horrifying road rage incident was caught on CCTV on Saturday in Deeplish, Rochdale. 

It is alleged that an argument between two builders escalated and ended with an air ambulance being called to attend to a man who was knocked down by a truck.  

Shocking footage shows the moment the man is hit by the truck and sent flying along the street, crashing to the ground in a heap.

The video shows a black van park in the road, a man climbs out of the vehicle, two other men can be seen making their way along the street.  

Suddenly a second vehicle comes racing into frame colliding with the parked van and ramming one of the men.  

The van is violently shunted to the side of the road and the man is dragged some distance before being thrown towards the kerb.  

He disappears behind a parked car as the white truck that struck him speeds off escaping the scene.  

Pedestrians and witnesses rush to help the man who was struck they try to help him to his feet and render medical aid.  

The shocking CCTV footage was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: “Yesterday in Deeplish. 

“Someone says it was a dispute between two builders and an air ambulance was called.”  

The video has since received over 150 likes and more than a dozen comments from social media users.  

One user said: “The very fact that people are prepared to use such outward violence says a lot about how little trust people now place in legal dispute resolution.”  

Another wrote: “Oh god this is terrible.”  

A third replied: “Bob the builder gone rogue.”  

Another commented: “Real world GTA.”  

A fifth added: “The cameraman always survives.”  

A spokesperson for the North West Air Ambulance Charity today said: “I can confirm we were called to an incident on Saturday 7th September at 3:30pm in the Rochdale area. 

“We have no further details to share at this time.”
