HARRY Potter fans were wowed after the Indonesian Trust Orchestra played a rendition of the movies’ theme in the cloisters of the University of Glasgow.
The stunning rendition was performed by the youth orchestra, from memory, during a visit to the University.
Donning robes and scarves like those seen in the halls of Hogwarts, the orchestra’s performance left fans in awe.
Video footage shows the orchestra stationed amongst the carved stone arches which themselves look like something seen in the corridors of the wizarding school.
The orchestra is already midway through the Harry Potter movie theme, performing it entirely from memory with no sheet music in sight.
The performance is led by a conductor waving a wand back and forth to help the magic musicians keep time.
Looking like a scene from one of the movies themselves, the members of the youth orchestra sway back and forth in time with the music as they play, robes flowing.
Towards the end of the performance the video cuts to a clip of the orchestra members posing with teachers and their instruments, beaming with smiles.
The incredible performance was recorded and shared to social media by the University of Glasgow with the caption: “Wonderful to welcome the trust orchestra of Indonesia to campus this morning.
“Sound on to hear some musical magic in the cloisters.”
Harry Potter fans went crazy for the incredible performance and the video quickly received over 153,000 likes and more than 720 comments.
