Brits left appalled by filthy state of busy London borough after homeless man spotted sleeping in mountain of roadside rubbish

BRITS have been left appalled at the filthy state of the streets in one of London’s most popular boroughs after footage of a mountain of roadside rubbish emerged online.

The shocking video, filmed on Camden High Street shows the busy central London road covered in a huge pile of litter and discarded rubbish.

Cardboard boxes and countless other miscellaneous trash blocks the pavement and ruins the landscape whilst in the middle of it all lies a sleeping man, using the mess as a mattress.

A woman films the scene exclaiming: “Oh my god. Camden is so dirty, look at that. There’s a human being in there. So dirty.”

The busy central London street was left in an appalling state.
The busy central London street was left in an appalling state.

Rubbish of all sorts has been left discarded on the pavement in the centre of the London borough with boxes, bags and bins overflowing.

A set of bar stools alongside newspapers, food wrappers and drinks cans have also been dumped on the pavement.

A man wearing a navy coat can be seen in the middle of it all, wrapped in a sleeping bag, depressingly using the filthy space as a makeshift bed.

With no space left in the nearby overflowing bins people appear to have begun dumping their litter anywhere they can, leading to Brits online fixing the blame on London’s mayor, Sadiq Khan.

The footage of the filthy road was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: “Camden Town, Sadiq Khan’s London.”

It has since received over 4,600 likes and more than 485 comments from users left appalled by the filthy street.

One user said: “Sadiq needs to find a new job. He should hand the keys to London over to someone who cares about the city and its people.”

Another wrote: “How much is the fine for dropping litter by accident again? I’ve forgotten.”

A third replied: “There really has to be a clean-out.”

Another commented: “Used to love Camden back in the day.”

A fifth added: “Can’t wait to never go there again.”
