FIVE men have been arrested following a brutal brawl inside a fast food restaurant that left doors and windows smashed.
The fight kicked off in the early hours of Friday morning at the Abaseen Dinner restaurant in Sheffield, South Yorkshire when a group of men arrived at the location in a vehicle.
South Yorkshire Police later attended the scene where four men aged between 20 and 34 were arrested on suspicion of affray and criminal damage, with a fifth man being arrested on Monday on suspicion of affray.
A video filmed by someone at the scene captured the entire brawl as it escalated, with a group of men standing at the restaurant’s counter, shouting and arguing indiscernibly.
Suddenly, one brandishes a glass bottle, which he slams off one of the tables until it shatters.
Another throws something at the wall behind the counter, which can also be heard breaking.
A man then appears to charge into the establishment, brandishing a long-handed implement and violently swings it at the men as chaos erupts.
The onlookers, who had been sitting inside the restaurant, quickly make a move outside and continue filming through the window.
One can be heard saying: “He’s got a knife.”
His friend adds: “Madness.”
The man confronting the group starts throwing punches at one in particular, aiming several quick-fire blows at his head, which he mostly blocks.
One of the bloke’s accomplices bizarrely then starts hitting him with a fryer basket in response, which he doesn’t even react to.
They all continue scrapping, moving further away until they are out of view before barrelling out of the door and onto the street.
The footage was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: “Scenes in Sheffield – man took punches.”
It has since received over 180 likes and more than 20 comments from social media users left shocked at the scenes.
One said: “Never seen a more wrestling style punch in a real-life situation than that.”
Another wrote: “Out of the pan and into the fryer.”
A third joked: “This is what happens when you run out of garlic sauce on a Saturday night.”
Another commented: “Look closely, he protected his face from each punch, used his big palm.”
A fifth simply said: “Crazy.”
